Purple and Paws I don’t know why but I thought that I had posted at the beginning of October and I just checked the site and realized I didn’t. Oh, well. I didn’t have much to report last month, anyway.
And I don’t have that much to report this month.
Socks is still on his special food and all four meds he was on in September. Mid-October, he had a check-up to get blood work done and the vet tech called me back two days later to inform me that his reading was good but they want it to be better so we’re keeping him on all his medications for now. His next check-up is in mid-December and we’ll re-evaluate then.
To be honest, I was disappointed with the results because I wanted to be able to get Socks off some of his meds, especially the steroid. But, the vet specialist knows best so here we are. I’m crossing my fingers for a pre-Christmas miracle and that his results will be better next time and he can stop taking some of these medications.
